PRESIDENT HASSAN SHEIKH GOES TO BAYDABO TO VERIFY SOUTH-WEST AGREEMENT

Baidoa, January 16, 2023; The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, and a delegation led by him, who are participating in the South-West Consultation and Reconciliation Conference, have arrived in Baidoa, the transitional capital of the South-West Regional Government. The President praised this platform which was extended by the Chairman of the People's Assembly of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, Mr. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Noor, to ensure the South-West agreement and to strengthen the unity and solidarity of the local people. The President of the Republic, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, while he is in the South West, will focus on accelerating the liberation of the South West areas where terrorists are still harassing our people, plotting massacres and insecurity
